About CiteSpot

CiteSpot is the GEO service of Jianrun Tech. We help brands with independent online stores and B2B export sites get found, read and cited by AI assistants when buyers ask them what to buy. The name says what we do: to cite is to quote as a source, and a spot is a place. Our Chinese name, 引见 (yǐn jiàn), means to introduce someone, which is what we want AI to do for your products.

Who does the work

Duozhu, founder. Eleven years inside cross-border e-commerce companies: five at Amazon, three at Shopee, three at Coupang, from engineer to technical director. MS from Georgia Tech, Shopify Partner.

He has launched two products for overseas users. One of them got four weeks of on-site GEO in spring 2026, after which AI engines became its biggest source of visitors (the numbers). That is one product of our own and one observation, not a promise to you. What went wrong along the way became our method and our pre-launch checklist.

He also wrote geo-score, an open-source AI visibility scorer under the MIT license. The score we use with clients comes from it, so you don't have to take our word for anything.

What we believe

  • AI searches the web when it answers. If a page is indexed, readable and answers well, it can be quoted, with no model retraining needed.
  • One real question, one good page. It works better than hundreds of keyword-swapped pages and doesn't put your domain at risk.
  • Results should be checkable. The scoring method is public and anyone can re-run it. We don't charge for effects nobody can verify.
  • Some money we turn down. See what we won't do.
