Free GEO audit: can AI get into your store?

Two options, both free. If you're comfortable with a terminal, test it yourself in a minute. If not, send us your store URL and a person on our team will review it within 48 hours.

Option 1: test it yourself

geo-score is our open-source scoring tool (MIT license, code on GitHub). Paste this into a terminal and replace yourstore.com with your domain:

curl -sL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jianruntech/geo-score/v1.8.0/cli/geo_score.py \
  | python3 - yourstore.com --brief

The line above needs only Python 3. With uv installed (the easiest route on Windows), you can also run:

uvx geo-score@1.8.0 yourstore.com --brief

You get a score from 0 to 100 across five areas:

  • Reachable: does robots.txt let AI search crawlers in, does the site respond to them, and is the main text in the HTML the server sends? Fail any of these three and the total is capped at 40.
  • Understandable: sitemap, llms.txt, structured data.
  • Citable: passages that answer up front, headings phrased the way shoppers ask, sourced numbers, dates and named authors.
  • Brand credibility: real mentions and profiles elsewhere on the web.
  • Answer fit: pages written as one question, one answer.

Score the same site twice and it can move by a few points. In a public test of 229 sites, each scored twice on the same day with the 1.1.x version of the time, 95.6% landed within 5 points (report). So a change of less than 5 points proves nothing either way.

Option 2: send it to us

We run geo-score, then do what it can't: ask a few questions your shoppers would really ask and see how each AI answers today, whether it mentions you, and whom it cites. Within 48 hours you get three things:

  1. Can AI get in: the three access checks, and where you're blocked if you are.
  2. What your shoppers ask: five specific questions and how AI answers them now.
  3. What to fix first, and roughly how long: sorted into days, weeks and months.

No admin access, no call. Read it and decide for yourself.

We use what you enter only to reply to this request. Jianrun Tech receives it in our team's internal chat and keeps it for up to 12 months. Ask us to delete it any time at hello@jianruntech.com. See the privacy notice.

Form not working, or rather talk directly? Email hello@jianruntech.com with your store URL.

Questions about the free check

Is the quick review really free? Will you keep chasing me?

It's free. After we send it, we ask once whether you want to go further. If you say no, that's the end of it. The full report is the paid diagnosis, and the quick review explains the difference.

Do you need access to my store admin?

No. The quick review only looks at public things: your pages, robots.txt, sitemap, and what AI assistants say in public.

My score is low. Is my site bad?

Not necessarily. The score measures whether AI can reach, read and quote your pages, not whether your products or design are good. Across 324 well-known websites we scored, the median was 55 (data). Low scores usually come down to a few fixable things.

If my score is high, will AI recommend me?

Not automatically. A good score means AI can get in, read the page and find something to quote. Whether it recommends you also depends on whether you answer the questions shoppers ask and whether real people discuss you elsewhere. That's why our services also track a fixed question set on a schedule.
